50g hazelnuts, chopped
50g sunflower seeds, chopped
50g dried apricots, chopped
50g granary brown flour
½ tsp baking powder
2 tbsp vegetable oil
4 tbsp apple juice
These are little bombs of energy that are the healthier alternative to sugar laden shop bought breakfast snacks.
Ideally a breakfast snack needs to be balanced and filling, low in sugar, high in fibre and slow release carbohydrates. By the very nature of snacking, it needs to be easily portable and long lasting.
Mix all the ingredients together and form into small balls. Bake at 180˚C for 15-18 minutes until golden brown
