Fruit Compote


Make the quantity that suits you.

  • Plums
  • Strawberries
  • Cherries
  • Oranges – peeled and segmented
  • Runny honey
  • Cinnamon

Make this at the beginning of the week and it’s perfect to keep you going until at least Thursday.

  1. Wash, halve and de-seed the fruit, place in a roasting tray.
  2. Drizzle with a squirt of runny honey and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
  3. Roast in the oven at 200 ̊C for 25 minutes until fruit has softened.

Eat warm or cold with porridge, yogurt or muesli.
