Griddled Peaches with nuts and drizzled chocolate
I know we are bracing ourselves as summer is coming to an end, but lets hang onto the sunshine for just a little while longer – this is a delicious treat that I love!
Pop to the supermarket – there are still some peaches and nectarines on the shelves, so fill up your basket and give these a go!
4 ripe peaches or nectarines
1 tsp melted butter
25g chopped hazelnuts
25g chopped walnuts
15g good quality plain chocolate, finely chopped
- Halve and stone the peaches or nectarines and brush lightly with the melted butter. Cook the fruit halves in a hot griddle pan for 5 minutes on each side until softened and golden.
- Divide among small serving plates and scatter over the hazelnuts and plain chocolate and serve.
