I begin by covering these past lives with gold, silver, or bronze leaf, brushing away the excess to reveal a textured, luminous foundation. From this base, new beauty emerges: sometimes a soft flower, sometimes a bold, imperfect figure. Some are lop-sided, some incomplete, but all are honest.
